Le Devoir, Quebec's independent daily founded in 1910, ran my op-ed on money as a ledger in its July 30 print edition. Here is the story, and the full text.
On July 30, 2026, my first op-ed ran in the print edition of Le Devoir. If you are not from Quebec, the name may not ring a bell, so here is the short version: Le Devoir is one of Canada's most respected French-language newspapers, an independent daily founded in Montreal in 1910 by Henri Bourassa, never owned by a conglomerate, with a motto that reads like an editorial line: "Fais ce que dois", do what you must. Its opinion pages are open to anyone who submits; the editors decide what makes the paper. They picked this piece for the July 30 edition, page A6.
