35 Tech, Science, and Blockchain newsletters for curious enthusiasts
For several years now, I’ve realized that, for me (these things are always subjective), the best information comes from so-called “slow news” formats that allow for in-depth analysis rather than the speed and superficiality of many modern news outlets. While news sites, TV, and radio seem to be increasingly “racing” to report the latest developments, I prefer to nourish myself with content that takes the time to focus on specific topics.
Article originally prepared in Italian for my personal podcast Disruptive Talks (read it here). NOTE: one of the newsletter is missing, as it went down (the post originally proposed 36 links so please, don’t mind the typo in the cover 😀 ).
This is why podcasts and newsletters represent my preferred sources for staying updated. Listening to an in-depth podcast or reading a targeted newsletter on a particular theme allows for true comprehension and the formation of well-considered opinions. In a world dominated by soundbites and clickbait headlines, high-quality intellectual nourishment is always something to be valued.
In this article, the disruptive team (myself, Gabriele who assists me on some episodes, and Giorgio who supports me in the back office) presents 36 newsletters that you should absolutely read if you’re interested in technology, innovation, and all the topics we discuss in our podcast. Even though some are paid subscriptions, they’re absolutely worth it for the depth and unique perspective they offer.
You’ll find our selection of general newsletters first, followed by those specifically dedicated to Blockchain, Bitcoin, and Web3.
Our personal advice: finding newsletters that truly suit you can take time and patience. We suggest proceeding gradually, subscribing to groups of 3-4 newsletters at a time, perhaps united by similar themes. After a few weeks, evaluate which ones have convinced you the most and keep only those, kindly unsubscribing from the others. Repeat the process, including new newsletters in the rotation. Don't be afraid to try different newsletters until you find those that perfectly fit your interests and reading style. The ideal newsletter is out there, ready to land in your inbox. All it takes is curiosity and initiative to uncover it!
